Interview With The Cast Of Character’s – According To Legend

Gerri B photoFor those who haven’t yet read Gerri Brousseau’s Legends, a bit about what the story is about before several of the characters give their point of view on some weighty matters.

According to Legend, when the spirit of the Tribal Princess is born again and she holds the enchanted stone in her hand, the lovers will be reunited . . . even through time.

Pam Hastings, an advertising agent, lives a boring life until she comes into possession of an enchanted dream catcher, which through her dreams, draws her back in time and into the arms of the handsome Warrior Chief, Moheeladeck.

Pam discovers the stones entwined within the dream catcher hold special powers and are also the key to a secret cave, rumored to contain untold riches. When Pam is followed and her house broken into she realizes she needs protection. That is when she meets the handsome and charming dog breeder David Conner, who gie her Half-Breed. But Half Breed is not ordinary dog and has secrets of his own.

With the village burning and the tribe under attack, Moheeladeck is torn between his duty to protect his tribe and his desire to protect the woman he loves in hers. David si torn between his love for the same woman and the destiny he was born to fulfill…her destruciton. Pam finds herself caught in a love triangle between these two men; a love triangle that spans both realms of time. With rivals in both the past and the present pursuing her to control the power of the stones and the treasures in the cave, who is really behind it all? Who can she trust? With two warriors who profess their love for her, who will capture her heart? We find out only in her dreams.

Now, direct From Gerri  Brousseau’s fascinating time travel, I want to welcome Pam Hastings, Moheeladeck, David Connor and the ever fascinating Half-Breed to Scribbler’s

TakshaweeMy first questions are for Pam:

Pam, did you have any inkling of who you were before being given the dream catcher?

Pam: No, and to be honest, when I first got the dream catcher and things were happening to me, I thought I was going crazy.

When you realized you could communicate with Half-breed telepathically, did you ever think you were simply losing your mind and that the dream world of Mohelladeck and the Aloscotay were not real?

Pam: Yes, at first, but even though Half-Breed can be quite opinionated, it’s pretty cool.

Do you feel when you were in the dream world as the Princess Takshawee you possessed an entirely separate personality from Pam, that in fact you were two separate beings?

Pam: At first, but once I accepted what was happening to me it seemed that our personalities blended harmoniously.

Pam what will you miss most from the modern world?

Hot showers. (She smiles coyly)

My next set of questions if for Moheeladeck:AccordingtoLegend_cropped

Mohelladeck, did you know about the modern world all along and that Takshawee was lost there as Pam Hastings?

Moheeladeck:  I knew nothing of the modern world, but I always knew Takshawee would return to me one day – it was part of the prophecy.

If so, why didn’t you simply go and get her? I could not go to the future because I do not possess the power to control the enchantment of the stones. Only our Tribal Princess can do such a thing.

Mohelladeck, what did you think of the modern world of Pam Hastings?

Moheelaeck:  She had many things in her lodge, elec tron eek magic that, how did she say, make life easier. I much prefer being with our people.

If there were one item you could bring back to the world of the Aloscotay, what would it be?

Moheeladeck:  I very much enjoy the hot waterfall. I think you call it a shower. (hmm… he’s smiling too…wonder what that’s all about)

Next up, David Connor:

David, when you first started having strange dreams, did you think you were losing your mind?

David:  Yes, but after a few of them I got a grasp of what was actually happening. It was only after talking to Pam that I realized my feelings for her had triggered everything.

Did developing feelings for Pam surprise you?

David: No, not at all. She’s been through a lot and she’s such a strong woman. It was pretty easy to fall for her, but that darn Half-Breed sure did all he could to try to keep us apart.

Half-BreedAnd last, but certainly not least, Half-Breed:

Half-Breed, did you know who David was right from the beginning?  And if you did, why didn’t you simply tell Pam the whole story to prevent her from ever considering giving her heart to him?

Half-Breed:  I did not know David’s true identity nor did I know what was in Pam’s heart, but it was not my place to tell her the story, it was hers to discover. It was a path she was destined to travel before she could know which man would win her heart.
